A Journey Through Hakka Culture: Our Three-Day Team Trip to Meizhou

From August 6 to 8, 2026, the team of Shenzhen Ziyangxing Technology Co., Ltd. embarked on a memorable three-day journey to Meizhou, Guangdong Province. Known as the “Capital of the Hakka People” and a region celebrated for the longevity of its residents, Meizhou welcomed us with its rich cultural heritage, beautiful scenery, and profound historical spirit.

Our first stop was the Hakka Museum of China, where we gained a deeper understanding of the origins, migration history, customs, architecture, and traditions of the Hakka people. Their courage, diligence, resilience, and strong family values have been passed down through generations. Walking through the exhibitions allowed us to appreciate how the Hakka community preserved its cultural identity while continuing to explore and build new lives in different parts of the world.

We also visited the Memorial Park of Marshal Ye Jianying, an important site commemorating the life and achievements of one of China’s respected military leaders and statesmen. His devotion to the country, sense of responsibility, and lifelong commitment to national development left a deep impression on our team. The visit reminded us that true progress requires not only ability and determination, but also a strong sense of purpose and responsibility.

In the evening, we enjoyed a relaxing night cruise along the Meijiang River. The illuminated riverside scenery offered us a different view of the city and gave everyone an opportunity to unwind, talk, and enjoy time together outside the workplace. We also explored the Hakka Town scenic area, where traditional Hakka culture is brought to life through distinctive architecture, performances, local food, and cultural experiences.

This three-day trip was more than a company outing. It was a valuable opportunity to strengthen communication, deepen mutual understanding, and bring our team closer together. In Meizhou, we experienced both the depth of Hakka culture and the inspiring spirit of patriotism and dedication.

We returned to Shenzhen refreshed and motivated. The resilience, unity, and pioneering spirit we encountered during this journey will continue to inspire us in our work.
